In cooperation with the Liberec Region, České dráhy is going to introduce new night trains from Liberec to Frýdlant v Čechách and Desná from 5 February 2024. These new services will depart from the regional centre from Sunday to Thursday always at 23:35 hours and will complement the existing offer of weekend night trains departing from Liberec after 00:30 hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Until now, night trains with departure times around 0:35 hours have been running on the routes from Liberec only on the days followed by a free (non-business) day, i.e. especially during the nights from Friday to Saturday and from Saturday to Sunday. New trains with departures at 23:35 hours will be provided on other days and as a result, night trains will now be running from Liberec to the regional communities every night. This offer will provide the inhabitants of the Liberec Region with an opportunity to stay in the regional city centre until late hours and to attend, for example, theatre performances, film projections in the cinema, evening concerts or sports and other events, while being able to make use of a comfortable night transport service home during the week.
