The training courses for employees intended for new trainsets in Eastern Bohemia are fully underway. In addition to train drivers from Havlíčkův Brod, train drivers from Pardubice are now also taking part in the training courses for the new RegioFox trainsets. The unit no. 847.007 in the PID transport system colours from the Rakovník depot is still used for this purpose. From Monday to Friday, the new trainset is scheduled to be deployed on three pairs of train connections between Havlíčkův Brod and Pardubice. On weekends, the unit is deployed on an operational basis and most frequently it appears on the railway line from Havlíčkův Brod to Humpolec.
The Pardubice Region and Vysočina (Highlands) Region are among the first regions of the Czech Republic where the new RegioFox trainsets are to be running regularly after they have been approved by the manufacturer (Pesa) at the Rail Authority and after they have been handed over to regular operation. In order to shorten the time between the handover of the trainsets and their entry into regular operation as much as possible, České dráhy has proceeded in advance to organising training courses for train drivers and other employees in the Pardubice Region and Vysočina Region. For this purpose, these courses are using one of the units manufactured for the Central Bohemian Region in the Prague Integrated Transport System (PID) colours, which is being deployed in trial operation.
The units for the Pardubice Region and Vysočina Region have already been manufactured and are just waiting for their approval and handover to České dráhy. However, the citizens of the Pardubice Region and those of the Vysočina Region can already now perceive the future comfort of travelling thanks to the trial operation and training courses organised for the railway staff.
